Job role: 

  • Providing our full range of HR services to clients from one-off casework to more longer term or complex support
  • Review and drafting of contracts.
  • Developing bespoke employee handbooks
  • Recruiting staff based on clients’ requirements
  • Responding to queries from our clients by email and telephone
  • Attending client sites to conduct formal meetings and investigations or support with interviews and appraisals.
  • Performance Management Guidance
  • Staff Development Guidance
  • Project support such as redundancy and TUPE

Key Skills: 

  • A strong HR Generalist background with excellent working knowledge of employment law
  • Well organised with the ability to deal with multiple clients in different industries
  • CIPD qualified (preferably level 7)
  • Confident in advising and coaching clients
  • Ability to problem solve both operational and strategic issues
  • Ability to build great rapport and relationships with clients
  • Great attention to detail

Location: Port Talbot 

Sam Hawking Property Lawyers is an experienced property law practice based in South Wales. They act for clients in Wales and England, and for those living abroad but selling/purchasing in this country. They offer a wide range of property services, as well as a variety of essential services to commercial, private and investor clients. 

They are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team

Job role: 

  • Assisting with the Company book keeping and accounts
  • Keep the accounts in accordance with the rules set out by our regulator which may be amended from time to time

  • Processing of all client invoices

  • Carry out all banking duties

  • Assisting in month end when required

  • The closure of client files

  • Regularly checking the bank

  • Processing payments

  • Checking Completion Statements and invoices

  • Help with Stamp duty transactions

  • Cover reception phones when needed

  • The book keeping of our Conveyancing charity foundation
